Job summary

Oklahoma City Community College in Oklahoma City is seeking a Student Computer Center (SCC) TAP tutor to provide tutorial assistance to students in the computer laboratory setting, in the disciplines listed under job duties, under the SCC Supervisor and SCC Evening Supervisor.

Successful candidates will have completed 6 or more IT credit hours and must obtain a recommendation from a laboratory supervisor or professor indicating they are qualified to tutor.

Qualifications

• Must have completed 6+ IT credit hours or equivalent.
• Must have recommendation from lab supervisor or professor indicating qualification to tutor.
• Able to tutor in designated tutor subject area.
• Flexible hours including afternoons, evenings and Saturdays preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide tutoring in IT topics in a computer lab setting.
• Implement a tutoring system under lab supervisor directions.
• Tutor one or more IT subjects listed (Vista, XP, MS Office, AutoCAD, 3DS Max, programming, web development, multimedia).
• Maintain professional conduct and assist in maintaining a safe learning environment.
