Job summary

Olsson is seeking a summer intern for our Survey team to gain hands-on experience on real-world projects. You will support field surveys, travel to job sites, and learn from experienced surveyors to build practical skills for a career in surveying.

We value collaboration, ownership, and attention to detail as you contribute to topographic, boundary, and land-title surveys while adapting to varying terrains and weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in land surveying, construction management, civil engineering technology, or related field.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving history.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to think critically and make safe decisions in field conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with fieldwork including topographic and boundary surveys, ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, and construction staking.
• Travel to job sites at different stages of construction and work in diverse terrain and weather conditions.
• Work under guidance from experienced surveyors to develop practical skills in surveying.

Job Description

As a summer intern on the Survey team, you will perform meaningful, hands-on, real-world work that will transform your classroom experience and help you envision your future career. You’ll work for our clients on projects with guidance from our experienced surveyors. You will assist with the performance of fieldwork including, but not limited to, topographic and boundary surveys, ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, and construction staking. You will travel to job sites at different stages of construction and work in all types of terrain and weather conditions.
