Job summary

Olsson is seeking a Summer 2027 intern to join the Survey team. You will perform hands-on fieldwork such as topographic and boundary surveys, ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, and construction staking under guidance from experienced surveyors.

You will travel to job sites at various construction stages and work in diverse terrain and weather conditions, contributing to real client projects while developing essential surveying skills.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in land surveying, construction management, civil engineering technology, or another related field.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work on a team.
• Attention to detail and safety-consciousness in fieldwork.

Responsibilities

• Assist with fieldwork including topographic and boundary surveys, ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, and construction staking.
• Travel to job sites at different stages of construction and operate in varying terrain and weather conditions.
• Collaborate with survey team and clients to support project goals.

Job Description

As a summer 2027 intern on the Survey team, you will perform meaningful, hands-on, real-world work that will transform your classroom experience and help you envision your future career. You’ll work for our clients on projects with guidance from our experienced surveyors. You will assist with the performance of fieldwork including, but not limited to, topographic and boundary surveys, ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, and construction staking. You will travel to job sites at different stages of construction and work in all types of terrain and weather conditions.
