The role emphasizes 3D modeling (SolidWorks preferred), strong written communication, and attention to detail while managing multiple tasks concurrently.

Qualifications

• In pursuit of a BSME/BSMET degree from an accredited university or college.
• Ability to work in both office and production environments.

Responsibilities

• 3D Assembly modeling of new and existing products
• Part modeling and manufacturing detail drawings
• Exploded view and Bill of Material creation
• Bill of Material entry and revision
• Revision of Manufacturing Detail Drawings
• Revision of Assembly Drawings
• Assembling test conveyors for prototyping, application validation, and data collection
• Toleranceing, geometric dimensioning, and performing tolerance stack-ups of assemblies
• Following procedures and work instructions
• OEM spec sheet creation and revision
• Other duties as assigned

We are seeking a Mechanical Engineering Co‑Op who will be responsible for support of all phases of conveyor design in both 3D design space and a production environment.

Projects will initiate with technical assistance to sales, design to specification, manufacturing details, bill of materials, vendor communication, assembly support, issue resolution, and change management.

Skills needed: 3D modeling (Solidworks preferred), good written communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks concurrently.
