Job summary

QC Conveyors, a Duravant Company, seeks an Entry-Level Mechanical Engineering Co-Op in Batavia, OH to support conveyor design in 3D and production environments. You will assist with sales-to-specification handoffs, manufacturing details, BOMs, vendor communications, and test assemblies for prototyping and data collection.

The role emphasizes 3D modeling (SolidWorks preferred), strong written communication, and attention to detail while managing multiple tasks concurrently.

Qualifications

• In pursuit of a BSME/BSMET degree from an accredited university or college.
• Ability to work in both office and production environments.

Responsibilities

• 3D Assembly modeling of new and existing products
• Part modeling and manufacturing detail drawings
• Exploded view and Bill of Material creation
• Bill of Material entry and revision
• Revision of Manufacturing Detail Drawings
• Revision of Assembly Drawings
• Assembling test conveyors for prototyping, application validation, and data collection
• Toleranceing, geometric dimensioning, and performing tolerance stack-ups of assemblies
• Following procedures and work instructions
• OEM spec sheet creation and revision
• Other duties as assigned
