Job summary

Literacy Minnesota is seeking a welcoming Intake & Distance Learning Coordinator for our Open Door Learning Center in North Minneapolis. You will manage student intake, enrollment, and distance-learning accounts, ensuring access to the right platforms and keeping records up to date.

The 0.75 FTE role typically runs Monday through Thursday, with occasional Friday meetings. Benefits include paid holidays and PTO, and you will collaborate with staff, volunteers, and community partners to support

Qualifications

• Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain accurate records.
• Comfort learning and maintaining multiple online platforms, databases, and account systems.
• Clear, respectful communication in person and in writing.
• Ability to work with adult learners from diverse backgrounds.
• Ability to balance front desk duties with detailed records work.

Responsibilities

• Own student intake from first contact through completed enrollment and placement.
• Staff the front desk during class hours and assist visitors and callers.
• Create and manage distance learning accounts and ensure platform access for each student.
• Coordinate with teaching staff and volunteers to align intake, instruction, and placement.
• Attend required meetings and contribute to a welcoming, equitable environment.
