Job summary

Shakopee Public Schools in Minnesota seeks a Welcome Center Coordinator to manage day-to-day operations of the Welcome Center and deliver responsive, courteous support to students, families, staff and community members.

The role coordinates enrollment, recruitment and outreach initiatives year-round, including early learning center screenings, and works with district partners to connect families with services while maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required and relevant experience considered.
• Multilingual ability preferred (Spanish or Somali).
• Bilingual preferred for engagement with diverse communities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate enrollment and engagement initiatives for new E-12 students.
• Serve as liaison between families and the district on enrollment.
• Coordinate outreach for ECFE program awareness and community events.
• Manage communication with families and provide district resources information.
• Plan and execute district events and community engagement activities.
• Support daily office operations and maintain Welcome Center.
