Job summary

OSU Oregon State University in Corvallis, Oregon, seeks student employees for the Food Science & Technology department to assist in the campus retail shop, including scooping, baking waffle cones, and serving customers.

Qualifications

• Must be academically enrolled in a high school, community college, or university
• Must meet Academic Standing Requirements; students on academic suspension are not eligible
• Must meet the applicable minimal enrollment standard
• International students hours may be adjusted per USCIS rules and OIS guidance

Responsibilities

• Complete orders in the retail shop including scooping, baking cones, crafting milkshakes and other operational needs
• Clean and sanitize equipment and workspaces
• Operate the POS system, track orders and sales, handle cash and interact with customers
• Assist with ice cream exchanges with the production plant and complete required paperwork
