Job summary

Princeton Management is seeking a motivated Student Housing Property Manager to oversee daily operations of a student housing community. You will drive occupancy, manage finances, lead onsite staff, and deliver an exceptional resident experience.

Responsibilities include leasing and marketing, budgeting and reporting, resident relations, and coordinating maintenance and capital projects. The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and a solid grasp of Fair Housing laws.

Qualifications

• Property management experience preferred (student housing a plus).
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and supervise staff effectively.
• Experience with leasing, budgeting, and resident relations is desirable.
• Understanding of Fair Housing and landlord/tenant laws.

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Property Manager to oversee daily operations of a student housing community. This role is responsible for driving occupancy, managing financial performance, leading onsite staff, and delivering an exceptional resident experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day property operations, ensuring strong financial and operational performance
• Hire, train, and manage onsite team members (leasing, maintenance, support staff)
• Drive occupancy through leasing and marketing strategies
• Manage budgets, expenses, rent collection, and financial reporting
• Oversee resident relations, conflict resolution, and retention efforts
• Coordinate maintenance, inspections, and capital improvement projects
• Plan and execute move-ins, move-outs, and annual turnover
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws and company policies
• Respond to emergencies and after-hours needs as required

Qualifications

Schedule

Requirements

• Experience: Proven experience in property management, with a track record of successful tenant relations and property management. Student housing property management experience a plus.
• Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and supervise staff effectively.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective interaction with residents, staff, and property owners.
• Organization: Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail to manage various tasks efficiently.
• Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make sound decisions under pressure.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications in property management, real estate, or related field are a plus.
