Job summary

Capstone On-Campus Management (COCM) is seeking a Housing Operations Manager for the University of Massachusetts Boston residence hall community. Responsibilities include fiscal oversight, rent collection, license policy enforcement, license planning, and summer conference housing.

Partnership with UMass Boston will provide a shared governance model for services. You will lead a team overseeing 1000-bed student housing, manage budgets, coordinate with the campus, and ensure quality facilities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field is required.
• Five to seven years of experience in Student Housing Operations or Property Management is required.
• Experience with Summer Conference housing is preferred.
• Experience with undergraduate student populations.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills; computer competency.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and program management for a student community of approximately 1000 beds at UMass Boston.
• Serve as primary contact for the University regarding operations and facilities for the community.
• Oversee rent collection and other revenue generation.
• Collaborate with university partner to manage excess financial aid process for qualified students.
• Oversee annual budget development, tracking expenditures, and monthly variance explanations.
• Oversee facility management, preventive maintenance, and a ticket system.
