Job summary

Farbman Group is seeking an organized, customer-focused Assistant Property Manager and Leasing professional to support daily operations at our student housing community. This role combines property management, leasing, and resident services to maintain a welcoming living environment.

You will assist the Property Manager, respond to inquiries, conduct tours, process applications, prepare leases, and help with rent collection and turn periods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in residential property management or leasing preferred; student housing a plus.
• Strong customer service and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Assist Property Manager with daily community operations.
• Support leasing by responding to inquiries, conducting tours, processing applications, and preparing leases/renewals.
• Explain lease terms and policies to residents and guarantors.
• Communicate professionally with residents and prospects.
• Assist with rent collection, delinquency follow-up, and notices.
• Coordinate maintenance requests and follow up on completions.
• Support move-ins/outs, inspections, and turn process.
• Maintain accurate resident files and leasing records.
• Assist with marketing, social media, campus outreach, and resident events.
• Follow policies and applicable regulations.
