Job summary

The Domain at Waco is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to support daily operations of a by-the-bed student housing community serving Baylor University students in Waco, TX. You will handle rent collection, lead resident ledgers, and drive leasing goals while acting as the second-in-command when the Community Manager is away.

Responsibilities span financials, leasing, resident relations, and on-site operations, including tours, renewals, and event coordination on and around campus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in property management, leasing, hospitality, retail, or similar customer-facing roles.
• Strong math, ledgers, spreadsheets and reconciliation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Post rent payments and maintain resident ledgers.
• Manage delinquency process from notices to evictions coordination.
• Prepare weekly and monthly occupancy and delinquency reports.
• Assist with invoice coding, PO processing and budget tracking.
• Move-in/out accounting and security deposit settlements.
• Conduct property tours and close lease applications.
• Support renewal campaigns, marketing events, and social media content.
• Serve as escalation point for resident concerns; document outcomes.
• Assist with annual turn, vendor scheduling, and on-call emergencies.
• Walk property regularly to monitor curb appeal and maintenance needs.
