The Center for Public Partnerships & Research in Topeka, KS seeks a student graphic designer to assist the Creative Director in producing print and digital marketing materials, video clips for social media, and basic web updates using InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator. Responsibilities include layout design, WordPress updates, HTML/CSS/PHP tweaks, and light office tasks.
Applicants should have 2 years of Adobe Creative Cloud experience and a portfolio ready for review; a junior/senior student
The student graphic designer will assist the creative director to produce print and digital marketing and promotional campaign materials, with additional web design, coding, and site updates assigned as needed. Duties will include:
Office duties may also be assigned, as needed. The ideal candidate will possess a strong ability to multitask, strong communication skills, and can demonstrate accountability.
During the semester term of the appointment, the student hourly must be enrolled in no fewer than 6 credit hours. For summer periods the student hourly must: (1) have been enrolled in no less than 6 hours in the past spring semester or (2) be pre-enrolled in the upcoming fall semester in no less than 6 hours or (3) be enrolled in summer session or (4) be admitted to study in the upcoming fall semester. Student Hourlies may be undergraduate or graduate students. (Exceptions granted for GRA/GTA/GA appointments DO NOT apply to Student Hourly appointments).
