The Center for Public Partnerships & Research is seeking a student hourly employee to support course preparation, tutorials, and assist a professor in grading. The candidate must maintain good academic standing and demonstrate knowledge of design software.
This hourly position requires enrollment in at least 6 credit hours. Applications are accepted until a qualified pool of candidates is identified. Benefits include gaining experience in a dynamic educational environment.
The Department of Design housed in Chalmers Hall prepares animators, illustrators, experience designers, graphic designers, marketing creatives, motion designers, photographers, product designers, UX/UI developers, and other multidisciplinary communicators to thrive as innovative practitioners and socially-engaged leaders in an ever-changing professional field.
During the semester term of the appointment, the student hourly must be enrolled in no fewer than 6 credit hours. For summer periods the student hourly must: (1) have been enrolled in no less than 6 hours in the past spring semester or (2) be pre-enrolled in the upcoming fall semester in no less than 6 hours or (3) be enrolled in summer session or (4) be admitted to study in the upcoming fall semester. Student Hourlies may be undergraduate or graduate students. (Exceptions granted for GRA/GTA/GA appointments DO NOT apply to Student Hourly appointments).
