The Center for Public Partnerships & Research is offering a part-time position for a student in the Department of Architecture. The role requires supporting course preparation, tutorials, and assisting with grading assignments under a professor's guidance. Students must be in good academic standing and have knowledge of design software.
This is an hourly position, and students cannot hold concurrent salaried positions. Estimated hourly wage is $11.00, with the position expected to start on August 15, 2026.
The Department of Architecture emphasizes design education through various experiences which include learning through making, collaborative research, and community engagement.
50%: Support course preparation, tutorials, lab sessions.
40%: Assist professor in grading homework assignments & exams.
10%: Other duties as assigned.
During the semester term of the appointment, the student hourly must be enrolled in no fewer than 6 credit hours. For summer periods the student hourly must: (1) have been enrolled in no less than 6 hours in the past spring semester or (2) be pre‑enrolled in the upcoming fall semester in no less than 6 hours or (3) be enrolled in summer session or (4) be admitted to study in the upcoming fall semester. Student Hourlies may be undergraduate or graduate students. (Exceptions granted for GRA/GTA/GA appointments DO NOT apply to Student Hourly appointments).
