The University of Kansas is looking for a student employee in the Department of Architecture to support course preparation, tutorials, and lab sessions while assisting a professor in grading. Candidates must be in good academic standing, preferably from the Department of Architecture.
This hourly/non-exempt position requires enrollment in at least six credit hours. The anticipated start date is August 15, 2026, with a salary of $11.00 per hour.
The Department of Architecture emphasizes design education through experiences such as learning through making, collaborative research, and community engagement.
During the semester term of the appointment, the student hourly must be enrolled in no fewer than six credit hours. For summer periods the student hourly must: (1) have been enrolled in no less than six hours in the past spring semester or (2) be pre‑enrolled in the upcoming fall semester in no less than six hours or (3) be enrolled in summer session or (4) be admitted to study in the upcoming fall semester. Student hourlies may be undergraduate or graduate students. Exceptions granted for GRA/GTA/GA appointments do not apply to student hourly appointments.
