Pennsylvania College of Technology seeks a part-time faculty member to lead educational activities in Architecture, teaching BSD340: Detailing & Applications on campus. The faculty will be responsible for educational leadership and student instruction on a part-time basis in Architecture.
The faculty will teach BSD340: Detailing & Applications, an architecture course that focuses on the relationship between building materials, construction detailing, and building performance. Students develop the knowledge and skills to create effective architectural details through drawing, design, and construction exercises, with an emphasis on code compliance, durability, aesthetics, maintenance, and high-performance sustainable building practices.
The available teaching assignment is scheduled for Mondays and Wednesdays from 2:30 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. and will be taught on campus.

CThe part-time rate for 2026/27 will be the greater of $1180 per credit or $787 per contact hour, prorated for student enrollment under seven. The approved substitute pay rate is $49.17 per hour during the first week of substituting and the prorated part-time teacher rate for consecutive substitute assignments that exceed one week.
