Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours and maintain academic progress.
• Experience in an office setting preferred but not required.
• Demonstrated ability to work accurately with computerized data systems (PC and mainframe).
• Ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds and maintain confidentiality.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Some travel between locations may be required; own transportation often needed.

Responsibilities

• Film games, video recording, editing, and provide highlights for the team.
• Track and monitor team equipment distribution and inventory.
• Set-up and breakdown for games.
• Generate team statistics reports for coaches.
• Coordinate travel including hotel, restaurant, game and practice sites.
• Responsible for team laundry.
• Create, maintain and update files and record-keeping systems.
• Generate reports, memoranda, graphs and presentations using software.
• Sort and distribute incoming mail and faxes.
• Copy and collate documents.
• Assemble informational packets.
• Assist with special events and functions as needed.
• Greet visitors and route calls.
• Schedule and confirm appointments.
• Maintain confidentiality of documents.
• Conduct special projects, research and assignments as assigned.
• Provide GREAT customer service and support the department's mission.
• Demonstrate and promote the University Cultural Values.
• Adhere to NCAA, GLIAC and other regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Education

High School Diploma or GED

Enrolled in minimum 6 credit hours

Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
