Job description

Position: Student Help and Seasonal Laborers

Student Help and Seasonal Laborers are hired to assist in our Highway Maintenance department with a variety of road/highway maintenance responsibilities; in our Bridge Department assisting crews in the building and maintenance of bridges and culverts; in our Fleet Maintenance Department assisting our mechanics in maintaining our fleet; and in our Mobility Department assisting with paint striping, sign installation, and other duties.

All seasonal hires will receive the necessary safety training and personal protective equipment to perform their assigned tasks and will be issued steel-toed boots as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

1. Minimum age for all employment is 18 years.
2. Pre-employment drug testing is required.
