Responsibilities

• Administers emergency first aid care to ill or injured students.
• Takes temperature, monitors health room, and observes students for illness symptoms.
• May administer medications only under strict program guidelines with approvals.
• Contacts parents/guardians regarding illness or injury.
• Maintains health records and coordinates with the school health nurse and principal.
