Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with strong reading and verbal skills.
• General experience involving working with people and ability to work independently.
• Health knowledge basics and PC/data processing ability; substitutions may apply.
• Current first aid certification and CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Administers emergency first aid to ill or injured students.
• Takes temperatures and monitors health room conditions.
• Administers medications per guidelines with approvals.
• Contacts parents about student illness or injury as needed.
• Coordinates health-related speakers and wellness information.
