Job summary

Sylvania Health Services seeks a Health Room Assistant to provide daily health care to students under supervision of a licensed health care professional. Responsibilities include maintaining health records, administering medications, and delivering first aid and health-related support.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or equivalent, CPR/First Aid/AED, and healthcare experience or CNA/MA preferred. Bilingual English/Spanish is valued.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate health records for students and health room care.
• Maintain immunization records and support reporting requirements.
• Administer prescribed medicines and document as directed.
• Provide first aid and care for students with health needs under RN guidance.
• Follow district health and safety policies and infection control procedures.
• Coordinate field trip health clearances and train staff as needed.
