Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide basic first aid and care for minor injuries and illness according to a detailed protocol.
• Administer medications according to district procedures and maintain logs.
• Assist with screening programs and document vital signs.
• Escort students to health room and assist students with disabilities.
• Contact parents per health services protocols or nurse directions.
• Call EMS as directed by health services protocols or nurse directions.
• Maintain a safe clinic following infection control procedures.
• Prepare and maintain correspondence, reports, and confidential health records.
• Maintain daily health office activity log and reportable data.
• Manage clinic supply inventory and requests.
• Comply with applicable laws, rules, and district policies; maintain confidentiality.
