• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide treatments and procedures including injections, wound care, and minor surgery assistance.
• Provide preventive health care services including immunizations and travel health counseling.
• Discharge planning and patient education.
• Fulfill duties related to SHS committee assignments.
• Perform administrative duties such as scheduling follow-up appointments and charting in electronic health record.
• Follow RN protocols that include triage assessment and RN managed uncomplicated UTI treatment.
