Job summary

San Diego State University’s Student Health Services seeks a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care within the on-campus clinic. You will perform triage, administer treatments, educate patients, and coordinate follow-up under physician supervision.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support student health, safety, and well-being while ensuring HIPAA compliance and accurate EHR documentation. This role is on-site at SDSU in San Diego.

Qualifications

• Completion of a professional nursing program in an approved school of nursing.
• CA RN license in state of California and CPR/AED certification.
• One year of professional nursing experience in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person and telephone triage using established protocols.
• Staff the Nurse Clinic and provide assessment, treatment, and follow-up.
• Develop and educate on individualized nursing care plans and patient education.
• Maintain complete, accurate documentation in electronic health records.
