Job summary

The University of Dayton Student Health Center seeks a Staff Physician to join a mission-driven team delivering comprehensive primary care to a diverse student population. Under Medical Director guidance, you will provide evidence-based diagnoses, treatment, and preventive care in a collaborative campus setting.

You will perform exams, manage acute and chronic conditions, educate students on wellness, coordinate with nurses and specialists, and document care using an electronic health record.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of an accredited residency program.
• Active and unrestricted license to practice in Ohio or eligibility.
• Board certification in a primary care or related field.
• DEA certificate or eligibility to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary health care to a diverse student population.
• Evaluate, diagnose, treat, and manage medical conditions.
• Perform physical examinations and order tests and imaging as needed.
• Provide patient education and preventive care for students.
• Collaborate with nurses and clinical staff to ensure quality care.
• Document care using an electronic health record system.
