You will supervise staff, coordinate with campus partners, and contribute to strategic initiatives within Duke Student Health. Strong communication and problem-solving are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Management, or a related business discipline is required.
• Experience providing direct customer service to students, clients, patients, or the public.
• Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead Student Insurance Operations: manage the Duke Student Medical Insurance Plan (SMIP) and Student Dental Insurance Plan; oversee enrollment and waiver processes; maintain student eligibility records.
• Deliver Exceptional Customer Service & Communications: be a trusted resource for students and campus partners; develop communications; respond to inquiries and resolve issues; monitor enrollment and billing data.
• Lead and Develop Team Members: supervise staff; lead recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and professional development.
• Contribute to Division and University Goals: participate in leadership teams; support strategic priorities and special projects; perform other duties as assigned.
