Qualifications

• Minimum of High School Diploma; LPN/CNA preferred.
• Current first aid and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Follow procedures in administering medication to students.
• Diabetes care procedures.
• Insulin injections.
• Tube feeding.
• Toileting assistance.
• Transferring and lifting of students.
• Suctioning and emergency response.
• Catheterization.
• Maintain records and perform clerical work.
• Attend continuing education classes.
• Communicate with school personnel, parents and students.
• Maintain confidentiality in health matters.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
