Job summary

The University of Florida is seeking a part-time OPS Student Assistant Graphic Designer to join the DCP Dean's Office on Main Campus in Gainesville. You will design signage and print materials, create layouts in InDesign/Illustrator, and prepare files for production while adhering to UF brand standards.

Ideal candidates are current UF students with strong typography, layout, and color understanding, and the ability to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled as a University of Florida student.
• Experience using Adobe InDesign and Adobe Illustrator.
• Basic understanding of typography, layout, color, and graphic design principles.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet project deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Design signage, posters, banners, displays, and other print materials.
• Create and edit layouts using Adobe InDesign and Illustrator.
• Prepare artwork and files for printing and production.
• Assist with event materials, publications, promotional graphics, and other design projects.
• Make revisions based on feedback and follow established UF and DCP brand standards.
• Help organize design files and project assets.
