Job summary

Auburn University is seeking an undergraduate student to assist the College of Forestry & Wildlife Environment property managers with projects on Auburn University land in the Lee County area.

Responsibilities include cruising timber, marking boundaries, data entry, weed control, prescribed fire support, invasive species management, and hosting events at AU properties. The role emphasizes hands-on field work and forest management experience.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled student at Auburn University.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Tree knowledge and timber cruising knowledge.
  • Experience with farm equipment (mowers, weed eaters, bush-hogs, drip torches).
