Job summary

American Dining Creations in Baldwin City, KS, is seeking a Student Food Service Worker to assist the Dining Services team in delivering friendly, efficient service.

You will greet guests, help prepare and serve items, follow safety guidelines, handle cashier duties, and support take-out and mobile ordering while keeping work areas clean and organized.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a Customer Service, Food Service, or Retail position preferred.
• Able to work well in a team as well as excel independently.
• Basic math skills and the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs, bend, climb stairs, stand, and walk for entire scheduled shift.

Responsibilities

• Greet and serve guests from a station or serving line in a fast, friendly manner.
• Help team prepare and serve menu items for a food station.
• Follow health and safety guidelines at all times.
• Operate a POS and handle payments at cash register duties as needed.
• Assist with labels and packaging for take-out menus and mobile ordering.
• Clean, organize, stock, and maintain kitchen, equipment, utensils, and general areas.
• May be assigned other duties as needed.
