Job summary

American Dining Creations is seeking a Student Food Service Worker in Baldwin City, KS to assist the Dining Services team in delivering friendly, efficient service at the dining station.

You will greet guests, help prepare and serve menu items, and follow health and safety guidelines; cashiers may use a POS. Benefits include weekly pay, meals during shifts, flexible hours to fit class schedules, and training in food service.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in customer service, food service, or retail preferred.
• Able to work well in a team and independently.
• Able to stay task-focused in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math, reading, writing, and communication skills.
• Must lift 50 lbs and stand for entire shift.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve menu items for a food station.
• Greet and serve guests quickly and friendly.
• Follow health and safety guidelines.
• Assist guests as they navigate dining hall and answer questions.
• Cashier duties may include operating a POS and handling payments.
• Assist with labels and packaging for take-out and mobile ordering.
• Clean, organize, stock, and maintain kitchen and general areas.
• May be assigned other duties as needed.
