Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a Student Food Service Worker at Barton College to join a dynamic dining team. You will assist with hot and cold food prep, station setup, and guest service in a fast-paced campus dining environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of hot and/or cold foods, and properly stores food, utilizing knowledge of temperature requirements and spoilage.
• Set up stations with entrées, soups, salads, breads, condiments, other food products and utensils.
• Interact with guests in the serving, retail and dining areas.
• Follow proper guest service procedures: smile, eye contact, greet guests.
• Clean and sanitize workstations and equipment following client and regulatory rules.
• Maintain a fast pace and multitask while performing duties.
