Job summary

Runge ISD is seeking a compassionate Instructional Aide to support teachers and students with high-quality instruction and interventions aligned to campus goals. You will assist with classroom management, small group instruction, progress monitoring, and administrative tasks that promote student achievement and classroom efficiency.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Two years of college coursework or higher is required per TEC §21.003 and ESSA.
• Associate degree or higher is acceptable or preferred.
• Paraprofessional assessment may satisfy the requirement.

Responsibilities

• Assist classroom teachers in delivering instruction and monitoring progress.
• Provide one-on-one or small-group instructional support.
• Support implementation of accommodations and behavior plans as directed.
• Supervise students in classrooms, cafeteria, playground, and arrival/dismissal periods.
• Prepare instructional materials and maintain a supportive learning environment.
• Administer and document basic assessments and progress reports.
