Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in financial aid, student services, customer service, or related field.
• Strong customer service orientation with genuine passion for helping others.
• Detail-focused with ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and counseling skills.
• Self-motivated and capable of working independently while thriving in a team.
• Must be eligible to enroll in NSLDS.

Responsibilities

• Advise students and families on financial aid eligibility, procedures and funding sources.
• Assist with FAFSA completion, verification and award acceptance.
• Explain loan terms, repayment and financial literacy concepts clearly.
• Provide guidance to resolve financial aid issues impacting enrollment or progress.
• Package and process financial aid awards in full compliance with regulations.
• Maintain accurate student records to ensure timely disbursement.
