Qualifications

• Experience in a college financial aid office or customer service/admin environment preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to maintain confidentiality.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills are essential.
• Ability to multi-task independently and be flexible in a front-desk environment.
• Proficiency with Windows and Microsoft 365 apps (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook).
• Commitment to a safe, harassment-free work environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide front desk coverage, greet visitors, and resolve general financial aid inquiries.
• Manage intake, review, and processing of financial aid documents with tracking.
• Prepare and mail financial aid award letters and packets.
• Maintain accurate student files for advising staff.
• Respond to emails, voicemails, and main inbox; forward complex inquiries as needed.
• Process letters and data entry in the financial aid management system.
