Job summary

Dallas College is seeking a Financial Literacy Coach to guide students and families through the financial aspects of higher education. You will provide resources, coaching, and access to funding options aimed at removing barriers to enrollment, persistence, and completion.

In this role you will collaborate with Student Success teams, conduct workshops, track outcomes, and ensure compliance with security and policy requirements, all while supporting students’ education and career goals.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required; two years in a higher education setting with financial aid experience.
• Ability to work extended hours, including nights and weekends during peak times.
• Must have valid driver's license; bilingual or multilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate across Student Success to assist students and families throughout the enrollment cycle, focusing on financial aid, literacy, and resources.
• Support and maintain individualized financial aid coaching loads, including advising on funding sources and eligibility.
• Develop outreach efforts and conduct workshops for students, families, and partners to promote financial literacy and aid resources.
• Track outcomes of campaigns and support communications plans for CRM and other platforms.
• Ensure compliance with security protocols and protect confidential data.
