Dallas College seeks a Financial Literacy Coach to guide students and families through financial aid options and resources. You will provide coaching, counseling, and advising on aid eligibility and disbursement to promote student success throughout enrollment.

The role emphasizes workshops, outreach, and collaboration with campus partners, with later potential for hybrid work as per policy. A strong focus on data-informed decisions and compassionate service is required.

Formación

• Associate degree required; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Two years of higher education experience with demonstrated financial aid.
• Ability to work extended hours, including nights and weekends.
• Bilingual or multilingual preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Collaborate with Student Success teams to assist students and families during enrollment with financial aid literacy.
• Provide individualized financial aid coaching and advising on aid eligibility and disbursement.
• Develop outreach at Dallas College events and evenings/weekends.
• Conduct workshops for students, families, and partners to raise awareness of aid resources.
• Ensure compliance with security protocols to protect confidential data.
• Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
