Qualifications

• Good academic standing with a GPA of 2.0 or higher.
• Enrolled as a degree‑seeking student with a minimum of 6 credits in the current or upcoming semester at Nevada State University.
• Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Skilled in problem solving, conflict resolution, time management, and organization to manage multiple tasks.
• Positive service attitude in a fast‑paced, high‑volume, customer‑service–based work environment.
• Effective interpersonal skills to work with diverse students and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Explain financial aid policies and procedures to students and the general public.
• Provide guidance in navigating student aid applications.
• Answer emails and assist students with financial aid in person and virtually through phone calls and Zoom appointments.
• Advise students regarding availability of financial aid, eligibility requirements, application process, and funding options.
