Job summary

College of Southern Nevada is seeking a part-time student worker to support Academic Advising at the Henderson Campus. The role involves answering calls, data entry, helping with walk-ins, and coordinating appointments while engaging with diverse CSN students and staff.

Eligible students must have completed FAFSA and accepted the Student Employment Award. Up to 20 hours/week with pay of $14.00 hourly, Fall/2026 term, supervisor Lu Julaton.

Qualifications

• Be friendly, outgoing, and willing to learn.
• Good understanding of diverse multicultural environments.
• Be able to follow directions and communicate well.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office systems and CSN student systems.

Responsibilities

• Answering and transferring calls on multi-line phone.
• Retrieving and responding to voicemails.
• Filing paperwork, data entry, and archiving old files.
• Assisting walk-in students and helping manage appointments.
• Participating and assisting in campus events.
• May manage or assist with Social Media accounts.
• Additional duties as assigned.
