Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Associate's degree in a relevant field is preferred.
• Two years in financial aid is preferred.
• Minimum three years in customer service or sales is preferred.
• Minimum one year data entry and customer service experience is required.
• Experience in a proprietary online higher education environment is preferred.
• Must not be in default on federal student loans while employed.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one counseling to students and families regarding financial aid options and eligibility.
• Assist with FAFSA, Master Promissory Note, and other required forms.
• Offer budgeting guidance and loan repayment information.
• Evaluate and process financial aid applications and determine eligibility.
• Maintain compliant records and generate required reports.
