Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Three (3) years of professional financial aid experience in a college office.
• Experience supporting student success in financial aid advising and planning.

Responsibilities

• Determines packaging of student financial aid awards per regs and policies.
• Monitors and implements federal regulations for loans, grants, and scholarships.
• Addresses compliance issues and serves as a resource on financial aid.
• Communicates with students, parents, schools, and guarantor agencies to resolve loan data conflicts.
• Assists in correcting over/under awards and coordinating with lenders.
• Authorized awarding of Tri-C Foundation scholarships and grants.
• Maintains data entry, files, and electronic data exchange with federal systems.
• Interviews and advises students on financial planning and aid options.
