Job summary
The College of Southern Idaho is seeking a Financial Aid Advisor to manage the financial aid process in a high-volume, student-centered environment. You will counsel students and families on eligibility, applications, and awards, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and institutional rules.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of federal and state financial aid regulations and processes.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and process student financial aid applications using PowerFAIDS and federal systems.
- Determine eligibility for federal/state grants, loans, work-study, and scholarships.
- Award financial aid packages and perform verification and SAP reviews.
- Monitor eligibility with system reports and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Explain aid options to students and collaborate with external partners.
