Job summary

UEI College is seeking a Student Finance Advisor at our Gardena campus to support the Director of Student Finance in administering financial aid programs. The role focuses on interviewing prospective students for eligibility, reviewing files for submission, and authorizing Financial Aid awards.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year in a college financial aid setting, with an associates degree or equivalent and preferred bachelor’s coursework in math, business, or accounting.

Qualifications

At least 1 year of experience in a financial aid department of an accredited college or university with direct responsibility for advising on or awarding Title IV activities or programs preferred.
Associates degree or comparable work experience required; Bachelor's degree with coursework in math, business, finance, auditing or accounting preferred.

Responsibilities

Interview prospective students to determine financial aid eligibility.
Review student files for completeness and accuracy for submission.
Review and authorize students' Financial Aid awards.
