Job summary

United Education Institute in Nevada, Las Vegas campus is seeking a Student Finance Advisor to support the Director of Student Finance in administering financial aid programs. You will interview prospective students, review files for completeness, and help determine and authorize financial aid awards to ensure eligibility and compliance.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of experience in a financial aid office at an accredited college or university and an Associates degree or equivalent;

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in a financial aid department of an accredited college or university with direct responsibility for advising on or awarding Title IV activities or programs preferred.
• Associates degree or comparable work experience required. Bachelor's degree with coursework in math, business, finance, auditing or accounting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interview prospective students to determine financial aid eligibility.
• Review student files for completeness and accuracy for submission.
• Review and authorize students' Financial Aid awards.
