Job summary

UEI College in Mesa, AZ is seeking a Student Finance Advisor to assist the Director of Student Finance in administering financial aid programs. The role involves interviewing prospective students, reviewing files for completeness, and authorizing financial aid awards.

A minimum of 1 year in a financial aid department is preferred; an Associates degree is required, with a Bachelor’s strongly preferred in math, business, finance, auditing or accounting.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in a financial aid department of an accredited college or university with direct responsibility for advising on or awarding Title IV activities or programs preferred.
• Associates degree or comparable work experience required. Bachelor’s degree with coursework in math, business, finance, auditing or accounting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interview prospective students to determine financial aid eligibility.
• Review student files for completeness and accuracy for submission.
• Review and authorize students' Financial Aid awards.
