Job summary

Tennessee College of Applied Technology-Pulaski is seeking a Financial Aid Support Associate to verify eligibility, counsel students and parents, and assist with completing financial aid applications. This full-time, non-exempt position reports to the Vice President of Student Services and follows a Monday–Friday schedule from 7:30 a.m.

to 4:00 p.m. Qualified candidates have an associate degree or equivalent experience, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and the ability to navigate state,

Qualifications

Associate degree or equivalent combination of education and related employment experiences accepted.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.

Responsibilities

Verification and documentation of student eligibility for aid programs.
Counseling current and prospective students and parents regarding all aspects of financial aid process and third-party student aid programs.
Assisting current and prospective students in completing financial aid applications.
Certifying eligibility of dual enrollment students.
Serving as the School Certifying Official for veterans' benefit programs.
Some travel is required.
Perform other duties as directed and assigned by the administration.
