Job summary

UEI College seeks a Director of Student Finance to lead the campus Student Financial Services Department and ensure policy compliance with Federal, State, accreditation and institutional guidelines.

You will oversee disbursement of federal funds, advise students, and manage staff and budgets for timely financial aid processing. Strong leadership, communication and accounting background are required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or comparable work experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree in math, business, finance, auditing or accounting strongly preferred.
• At least 5 years in a financial aid department of an accredited college or university with direct Title IV responsibility.
• Experience with work-study, scholarships and campus-based funding programs.
• 3+ years of management experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide vision, leadership and direction for the campus Student Financial Services Department.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, accreditation and institutional guidelines for student enrollment and financial aid eligibilities.
• Oversee timely disbursement of financial aid funds and accurate funding reviews.
• Advise students on financial aid needs and options and respond to questions from students and parents.
• Train and develop department staff, hire and evaluate performance, and manage budgets.
• Coordinate required reporting and department quality control activities.
