Job summary

Augsburg University is seeking a part-time Student: Film & Media Technical Assistant (2026-27). You will assist in managing and using film and new media equipment for multiple programs, responding to faculty and student needs and following established protocols.

Responsibilities include checking out/in equipment, ensuring proper care, monitoring editing suites, and providing technical help. Some evenings/weekends; must be enrolled and work-study eligible. Resume required.

Qualifications

• Enrolled as a student at Augsburg University and be work-study eligible.
• Working knowledge of film cameras, video cameras, DSLR cameras, audio gear, lighting, computers, and Premiere Pro.
• Highly responsible, detail oriented, and self-motivated.
• Ability to follow established protocol.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work independently.
• Some evenings and weekend hours are expected.
