Job summary

Perry Township Schools is seeking a Student & Family Liaison to strengthen school-family partnerships and support MTSS implementations across Southport campuses. You will work directly with students and families to remove barriers to attendance, achievement, and behavior, coordinating resources both within schools and in the community.

Qualifications

• Establish positive and respectful relationships with students and families from diverse backgrounds.
• Knowledge of family engagement practices and partnerships between schools and families.
• Understanding MTSS and the link between academics, behavior, attendance and family supports.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, problem-solving, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop positive, trusting relationships with students and families through regular outreach and follow-up.
• Maintain a targeted caseload and provide individualized family support and case management.
• Coordinate and oversee after-school tutoring programs and communicate with families about student progress.
• Collaborate with MTSS teams to identify needs and monitor progress.
• Proactively reach out to families facing attendance concerns and address barriers to regular attendance.
• Coordinate or support family engagement activities at school and in the community.
